FEATURED Academic work: hockey in canada: redefining its "grEatness"; Video publication, editing, & Commentary

Hockey is Canada’s national sport. Perhaps many people consider the “Greats” as hall of famers such as Wayne Gretzky and Bobby Orr. However, I take a deep look into recreational hockey and perhaps the need for a change in discourse over what is “Great” about hockey.

FEATURED Photography: ZeitGeist Picture

A mural, entitled ‘2020’ by artist Jordan Ernst, was commissioned by the owner of the building on 104th street in downtown Edmonton to memorialize a friend who had committed suicide, while at the same time paying tribute to health-care workers. In the picture, taken on the night of March 7, 2021, we can see that the mural has since been defaced with the word ‘SCAMDEMIC’. MACEWAN/Isaac Lamoureux
